As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though David may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Earl and Frances Irene Rainwaters (Poole); and his brother Anthony Rainwaters. He is survived by: his children, Derek Rainwaters of Russellville, Karra Rainwaters of Russellville and Katrina Hardin (Curtis) of Lewisburg; his brothers, Timothy Rainwaters (Paula) of Russellville and Jeffery Rainwaters of Russellville; and his grandchildren, Colten Hardin and Kailyn Hardin.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel (1600 Nashville St, Russellville, KY 42276). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at the Smith Cemetery (128 Anderson Store Rd, Russellville, KY 42276).
