Brooksher of Russellville, Kentucky, born in Springfield, Tennessee, who passed away on April 12, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, John D. Brooksher, Sr. and Louise Martin Brooksher. He is survived by : his wife Gracie Brooksher2; his children, Kenneth Brooksher (Shannon), Russellville, Adairville and Beverly Rippy (Allensville); and his brother Everett Brooksher (Tennessee5).

Visitation was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Summers and Son Funeral Home (210 Thurston Dr, Russellville, KY 42276). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at the Jarrett Cemetery.
