He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. O. C. Barber, Jr. and Betty Jane Fields Barber; his grandparents, Claude, Evie Fields, Otley Curtis and Mary Owen Barber, Sr.; his aunts and uncles, Joe, Barbara Barber, Billy, Mimi Barber and Johnnie Barber Coleman; and his cousins, Marcia Barber Moss and JoNell Barber Powell.
He is survived by: his grandsons, Damon Tyler Ganote of Russellville and Cam Austin Ganote of Taylorsville; his aunt Martha Nace (Marty) of Nashville, Tenn.; his close friend Daniel Rogers of Clinton; and his cousins, Teresa Barber Allison (Joe) of Clinton, Chad Barber (Melanie) of Clinton, Phillip Powell of Fulton and Bryan Barber (Peggy) of Louisville.
