She was predeceased by: her husband James J. Bailey, Sr.; her son James J. Bailey, Jr.; her parents, Elbert "Buck" Bowman and Marie Murch Bowman Arnold; her granddaughter Nikki Christian; and her brothers, Houston Bowman (Thelma) and Hurshel Bowman.

She is survived by: her children, Kimbra Miller (Wendell) and Tari Bailey; her grandchildren, Jodi, Jesse (Leah), Natalie (Brent), Blaine and Heath; and her sister Idella Ruby (Steve). She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
