He is survived by: his wife Pamela Fultz Burns; his daughter Katherine Burns; his grandson Gabriel Burns; his parents, Willis Burns and Patricia Burns; his nephews, Albert and Lonnie Dale Lankford; his sister-in-law Sharon James; and his father-in-law Earl Fultz Sr..
