She was predeceased by: her parents, Noble J. Nixon and Geneva Bloodworth Bean; her husband Charles P. Bean; her son Timothy Charles Bean; and her siblings, Mary Helen Adams, Rickie Bean, William David Bean, Noble Wayne Nixon and Cecil Ray Nixon.

She is survived by: her daughters, Sheila Smith (Billy) of St. Charles, KY and Kathy Cherry (Roy) of Madisonville, KY; and her grandchildren, Jeremy Smith (Heather), Corey Smith (Ashley), Leandra Kellam (Adam) and Rebekah Jones (Wyatt). She is also survived by six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Christian Privilege Cemetery.
