He was predeceased by: his parents, George Strong of Washington and Rose Walker Strong; and his wife Elizabeth Bowling Strong. He is survived by: his siblings, Herbert Hoover (Lillie Strong), Jeff (Margaret Strong) and Pauline; his brother-in-law Virgil Bush; his son-in-law Mike Combs; his children, Oscar Eugene Strong (Trish), Robert Reed Strong (Sarah) of Jackson, KY. and Glenda Combs (Rick) of Jackson, KY.; his siblings, James "Jimmy" Strong (Carol), Robert "Bob" Strong (Etta) of Detroit, MI. and Thelma Spicer of Jackson, KY.; his grandchildren, Makayla Elizabeth (James), Benjamin Dale (Nickie), Abigail Rose (Jordan), Mattix, Matthew and Zachary; his great grandchildren, LaMika, Cherry and Lillie; his stepgrandchildren, Kayella (William), Matthew (Melanie), Willie John (Michelle), Raymond (Becky), Rik (Angel) and McKenzie; and his friends, Harlan and Dora Fugate. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.
