He was predeceased by: his wife Cynthia Pierce; his parents, William Pierce and Thelma May Hardin Pierce; and his siblings, Benetta Mae Roudebush, James Bradford Pierce and Edward M. Pierce.
He is survived by: his children, Tara Pierce of Paducah and Martin Amis (Tracey) of West Paducah. He is also survived by five grandchildren and 11 great- grandchildren.
