She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Earl Damron and Norma Jean Dilback Phillips; her husband Gary Dunkerson; her stepparents, Earl Phillips and Ophelia Damron; her brothers, Joseph Damron and James Damron (Jimmy); and her stepbrother Danny Shuecraft.
She is survived by: her son Anthony "Tony" Dunkerson (April) of Salem; her grandchildren, Austin Dunkerson (Lillie) of Salem and Ashleigh Dunkerson of Paducah; her great grandchild Aurora of Salem; her siblings, Pam Champion, William Damron (Bill), Gary Phillips and Kenny Phillips; and her stepbrother Stanley Shuecraft (Debbie). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 11th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services (212 E Main St, Salem, KY 42078). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 11th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
