He was predeceased by: his former wife Elizabeth George (Bridge); his parents, Buel E. George and Pearl J. George (Brannam); and his siblings, Ernestine Garrison, James Edward George, Mary Helen Conway, Juanita Fraley, Lucy Gibson and Charles Wayne George.
He is survived by: his wife Terry DeBoe George of Salem, KY; his children, Thomas E. George (Rochelle) of Marion, KY and Juanita Courtright of Marion, KY; his sisters, Hazel Browning of Madisonville, KY and Freda Watson of Marion, KY; and his grandchildren, Tom Courtright (Mary), Dillon Courtright (Tenasie), T. J. George, Charlee George, Brandon DeBoe (Rheanda), Adam DeBoe (Mandy), Trey DeBoe, Kirsten Howton (Trevor), Daley DeBoe (Jacey) and Caden DeBoe. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
