He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucian McFarland and Katherine Burkholder McFarland. He is survived by: his wife Eula Cobb McFarland; his children, Tammy House (Ed), Tina Sparks (Darrell) and Donald McFarland, Jr.; and his sister Sharon McFarland. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Powell Funeral Home (39 Main St, Salt Lick, KY 40371). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at the Bath County Memorial Gardens.
