He is survived by: his mother Ruth Ann Cline Stamper of Salt Lick; his wife Donna Kay Whitt Stamper; his children, John R. Stamper (Anna) of Olive Hill, Cody Stamper (Kayla) of Olive Hill, Tabitha Stamper Flanigan (Jacob) of Olive Hill, Nathaniel Skaggs (Jordan) of Salt Lick, Nicholas Perkins, Heather Perkins Evans, Shane Perkins, Daniel Fannin, Jonathan Elliott and Christopher Elliott; his grandchildren, Khloe Flanigan, Jacob Flanigan II, Zoey Stamper, Zander Stamper, Mia Flanigan, Benjamin Flanigan, Zaden Stamper, Kimberly Skaggs, Kyra Skaggs and Kenzie Skaggs; and his siblings, Rick Stamper (Vickie) of Huntsville, Alabama and Lisa Stamper McGuire of Morehead. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and his church family.
