She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Hunt and Gladys Powers Hunt; her husband Joseph Hardin; her brothers, Robert Hunt and Matthew Hunt; and her children-in-law, Christy Hardin and Eric Shankland.
She is survived by: her children, Maggie Shankland of Salt Lick, Nathan Hardin (Tabitha) of Salt Lick, Caliem Hardin (Shannon) of Salt Lick and Emanuel Hardin (Pam) of Salt Lick; and her siblings, Ritha Ison of Salt Lick, Lois Cline (Robin) of Salt Lick, Rocky Hunt (Sharon), Darrell Hunt (Bonnie) and David Hunt (Jenny). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Powell Funeral Home (39 Main St, Salt Lick, KY 40371). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at the Joe and Linda Hardin Family Cemetery (119 Hardin Rd, Salt Lick, KY 40371).
