He was predeceased by: his father Jimmy Johnson; and his sister Sally Quesenbery. He is survived by: his mother Donna Shepherd Johnson; his daughters, LaKayla Howard (Alex) of Salyersville, Tiffani Minix (Dustin) of Salyersville and Catie Carty (Dillon) of Salyersville; his siblings, Jimmy Johnson of Salyersville, Jessie Johnson of Lexington, Jerry Johnson (Tammy) of Salyersville, Joseph Johnson of Salyersville, Myrtle Wireman (John) of Salyersville, Cindy Wireman (Ez) of Salyersville, Sue Wireman (Roger) of Salyersville, Donna Johnson of Salyersville and Pechie Parsons (Russell) of Salyersville; and his grandchildren, Karsyn, Brody, Brooks, Lincoln, Walker, Connor and Hallee.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel (900 Parkway Dr, Salyersville, KY 41465).
In lieu of flowers, family has request that contributions made to the memorial fund at the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
