We are sad to announce that on July 24, 2025, at the age of 63, Darrel Howard of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Darrel leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parent Swonnie Howard; and his wife Janice Ann Salyer Howard. He is survived by: his father Paul Howard; his sons, Scotty Howard of Salyersville and Bentley Paul Howard of Salyersville; his brothers, Francis Howard of Salyersville and Carter Howard of Salyersville; and his grandchildren, Parker Scott Howard and Presley Grace Howard.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel (900 Parkway Dr, Salyersville, KY 41465).
