It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Janet Robinette Powers of Salyersville, Kentucky, who passed away on April 13, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, George Wellington and Shirley Prater Robinette. She is survived by : her daughter Tara Powers Parsons of Salyersville; her sisters, Judy Howington of Salyersville, Joann Crace of Salyersville, Georgetta Robinette of Salyersville, Virginia Fletcher of Salyersville, Brenda Arnett of Salyersville and Rebecca Robinette of Ashland; her grandchildren, Madeline Carty, Katie Carty and Aiden Carty; her great grandchild Easton Gayheart; and her nephews, Matthew George Crace and Larry Neil Fletcher. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel (900 Parkway Dr, Salyersville, KY 41465).
