He was predeceased by: his parents, Riley Caldwell and Bonnie Jackson Caldwell; his children, Richard Caldwell and Sheila Reed; and his siblings, Marvin Caldwell, Melvin Caldwell, Mike Caldwell, Geraldine Bosch, Christine Korte and Ida Mae Caldwell.
He is survived by: his wife Dottie Cole Caldwell; his children, Steven Caldwell (Josephine) of Salyersville, Rita Hall (Tim) of Salyersville and Angela Hall (Kenny) of Salyersville; and his sister Kathleen Hunley of Salyersville. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, and seventeen great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 4:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Salyersville Trinity Full Gospel Church (1888 Old Burning Fork Rd, Salyersville, KY 41465).
