It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruby Oney Arnett of Salyersville, Kentucky, who passed away on November 7, 2025, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orbett Calmer and Fairie Gibson Oney; and her husband Joey Arnett. She is survived by: her son Jacob (Melissa Arnett); her siblings, Melvin (Doris Oney), Talmage Wayne (Juanita Oney), Evie Reed of Salyersville, Patty Arnett of Salyersville, Brenda Benton of Salyersville and Ruth Oney of Morehead; her grandchildren, Leah (Austin Cole) and Tyler Arnett; and her great grandchild Adaline Cole. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel (900 Parkway Dr, Salyersville, KY 41465).
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the memorial fund at the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
