He was predeceased by: his parents, Estill Cress and Susie Cress (Glass); and his siblings, Odell Cress (Marie), Olen Cress (Alma), Leles Cress, Daris Cress (Linda), Shannon Cress, Velda Combs (Gary) and Shirley Johnson (Lewis).
He is survived by: his wife Linda Carolyn Cress (May); his grandchildren, Blaine Manning, Christian Manning, Skyler Caudill (Josie), Madison Wilburn (Luke), Sawyer Cress and Reagan Cress; his great grandchildren, Oaklyn Wilburn, Maevry Wilburn, Gemma Wilburn and Cade Caudill; and his siblings, Charles Cress (late Geraldine), Verlan Cress (late Reva), Earlin Dude Cress (Alaine), Linton Cress (Connie), Johnny Cress (Wanda), Donnie Ray Glass, Marslene Littrell (late Janice), Charolette Cress and Linda Cress.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Main Chapel (5900 US Hwy 27, Science Hill, KY 42553). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form in donations to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
