She was predeceased by: her parents, Obe Phelps and Rebecca Phelps (Wallace); her husband John Edwin Ryan; her children, Bobbie Ryan, William Ryan and Betty Burton; her grandson Barry Ryan; and her siblings, David Phelps, Obie Phelps, Phillip Phelps, Lewis Phelps and Maxine West.
She is survived by: her children, James Ryan (Joyce) of Nancy, KY, Joe Ryan of Nancy, KY and Beverly Lopes of Eubank, KY; and her siblings, Joel Phelps of Francisville, IN, Alice Powell of Cold Springs, KY and Ruth Bryant of Eubank, KY. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
