He was predeceased by: his parents, Avery Tilley and Alice White Tilley; and his siblings, Paul Tilley, Robert Tilley and Pauline Loveless Spaw.
He is survived by: his wife Margie Tilley (Haste); his sons, Michael Steven Tilley (Tammie) of Science Hill and Garry Tilley (Lesia) of Science Hill; his grandson Seth Tilley (Laura) of Science Hill; his sons, Allison Wooldridge (Alec) of Somerset and Justin Tilley of Science Hill; and his great grandchildren, Garren Tilley, Branson Tilley and Jetta Faye Wooldridge. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Southern Oaks Funeral Home Chapel (2110 KY-914, Somerset, KY 42503). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Beech Grove Cemetery Fund.
