He was predeceased by: his father Sherman Dewayne Taylor; and his grandparents, Arvil, Lura Taylor, Melvin and Edna Whitis.
He is survived by: his mother Joan Whitis Taylor of Science Hill; his children, Amanda Martin (Brian) of Somerset, Tabitha Brock (J. R.) of Eubank and Caleb Taylor of Danville; his grandchildren, Kasen Brock, Kain Martin, Kinsley Brock and Kailyn Brock; his siblings, David Taylor (Karen) of Somerset, Larry Taylor (Beckie) of Eubank and Jill Shadoan (Tim) of Somerset; and his nieces and nephews, Zachary Taylor, Latosha Schanbach (Tyler), Taylor Shadoan and Hayden Shadoan (Kayla). He is also survived by extended family members, church family, neighbors, and friends.
