She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Jochimsen and Josephine Thompson Jochimsen; her son Shannon Epperson; and her brothers, Marvin Jochimsen, Dennis Jochimsen and Gerald Jochimsen.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Wayne Epperson; her son Jimmie Epperson (Amber) of Somerset; her grandchildren, Eli Epperson and Hannah Epperson; and her siblings, Ronald Jochimsen of Science Hill, KY, Patrick Jochimsen of Stetsonville, WI and Arlene Roadcap. She is also survived by extended family members, neighbors and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lake Cumberland Funeral Home (1046 KY-80, Somerset, KY 42503). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
