It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Zelma Jean Moran of Science Hill, Kentucky, born in Brooksville, Kentucky, who passed away on June 8, 2022, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert L. Haley and Anna J. Haley (Hatfield); her husband Rev. Allen Moran; her siblings, Garnett, Glenn, Leo Haley, Elsie Haley and Chloe Schiltz; and her daughter-in-law Susie Moran.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Moran of Science Hill, Karen Jean Powell of Richmond and Rachel Anne Williams (Greg) of Somerset; her grandchildren, Jason Powell (Tammy), Jarrod Powell, Jessica Walker (Richard), Dylan, Luc, Dayne Powell, Nicholas, Andrew Walker and Tristan Dale (Jake); and her great great grandchild Madison Dale.
In lieu of flowers the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Hospice of Lake Cumberland or Gideons International.
