He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Ernest Bachschmidt and Doris Ursula Rowe Battle; his son Robert Michael James Bachschmidt (Cathy) of Bowling Green, KY; and his brothers, Robert John Bachschmidt and William James Bachschmidt.
He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Mayes Bachschmidt of Scottsville, KY; his daughters, Christina Bachschmidt Thomas (Colton) of Scottsville, KY and Amanda Jeanne Youngblood (Mike) of Adolphus, KY; his sisters, Michelle Bachschmidt Fountain (Chuckie) of Davie, FL and Linda Tyner of Orlando, FL; and his grandchildren, Nickolas Allan Quesinberry, Katielyn Elizabeth Quesinberry (Tyler) and Addison Brielle Youngblood.
