He is survived by: his wife Patricia Gabbard Burd; his children, Wayne Burd and Jennifer Burd Iversen (Snorre); his sister Lora Lynn Burd; and his grandchildren, James Froman, Amandia Burd, Angel Froman, Erik Iversen and Eva Cait Iversen. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
