She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Williams and Tina Belle Vanover Williams; her husband John Akers; her siblings, Cledith, Cecil, Calvin, Margie, Dorothy, Thelma and Ruth; her grandson Johnie Akers III; and her son-in-law Dwayne Sizemore.
She is survived by: her children, Tina Sue Sizemore of Whitesburg, KY, David Akers (Jessica) of Lost Creek, KY, Joseph Akers (Doris) of Winchester, KY and Johnie Akers (Pam) of Hazard, KY; her siblings, Marilyn Williams of Hazard, KY and James Alfred Williams (Sally) of Hazard, KY; and her nephew Friends.
