He is survived by: his wife Carol Smith; his children, Caleb Combs and Renee Ritchie; his brothers, Mike Smith, Angel, Jerry Smith, Christopher Smith and Robbie Moten; his grandchildren, Rachel Ritchie and Jeremiah Ritchie; and his siblings' children, Allie Elliot, Kayla Elliot, Brooklyn Wooton, Jaylynn Wooton, Bently Smith, Tyler Smith, Brandon Slone and Jacob Smith.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home (301 E Main St, Hazard, KY 41701-1922). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
