With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ana Griselda Velasquez Vargas of Sebree, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 25, 2025 at the age of 19. Though Ana Griselda may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ana Griselda touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She is survived by: her parents, Juan Velasquez and Natalia Vargas of Sebree; her grandparents, Domingo Velasquez, Francisca Perez Juan, Andres Vargas Lucas and Angela Sofia Lopez Figeroa; and her siblings, Oscar Velasquez of Sebree, Francisca Velasquez of Sebree, Angelica Velasquez of Sebree, Lidia Velasquez of Sebree and Juan Velasquez, Jr. of Sebree. She is also survived by many many aunts uncles and cousins.
