It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Emerson Batts of Sebree, Kentucky, who passed away on October 5, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, J. T. Batts and Zala Batts (Cissna); his former wife Alice Batts (Ranes); his daughter Kimberly Batts; and his sister Mildred Wright.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Adcock Batts; his children, Brodrick Batts of Sebree, KY. and Stacie Webster (Todd) of New Cumberland, WV.; his grandchildren, Jacob Joiner of Sebree, KY and Amber Geffert (Joe) of Robards, KY.; his great grandchildren, Jaide Tapp and Tine Joiner; and his caregivers, Amanda Buchanan, Lisa Thompson and Lauren Jackson.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sassafras Grove Cemetery.
