He was predeceased by: his father Owen Yancy. He is survived by: his spouse Sandy Yancy of Sebree; his children, Katie Howard (Greg) of Corydon and Matt Yancy of Sebree, Kentucky.; his grandchildren, Colton, Aiden and Kylee Howard; his mother Peggy Howell of Sebree, KY; his siblings, Amy Yancy (Renetta Keplinger) of Whitwell, TN, Bill Yancy (Tracy) of Dixon, KY and Terry Yancy (Donna) of Dixon, KY; and also Tom. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 8:00 AM at the Townsend Funeral Home (140 US-41 ALT, Dixon, KY 42409). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony's Hospice 2410 S. Green St. Henderson, KY 42420, in memory of Tom.
