He was predeceased by: his mother Lillian Mullins; and his daughter Jessica Dawn Vanover. He is survived by: his wife Regina Holbrook Vanover; his stepdaughter Rebekah Boggs; his siblings, Danny Vanover (Carolyn) of Campbellsville and Vicky Parrott (Silas) of Jenkins; and his grandchildren, Brianna Boggs and Bryleigh Boggs.
