He was predeceased by: his parents, Harless Coleman and Pluma Green Coleman; his son Billy Foster Coleman; and his brothers, Walter Coleman, Herman Coleman, Homer Coleman, Larry Coleman and Gary Coleman.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Adkins Coleman; his daughters, Teresa McClanahan (Victor) and Kimberly Allen Coleman (Ashley); his stepchildren, Lynn Anderson (Eddie) and Christina Mullins; and his sisters, Cleo Thacker, Joyce Curry, Opal James and Helen Marrs. He is also survived by six Grandchildren; four Step-Grandchildren; three Great-Grandchildren; two Step-Great-Grandchildren.
