She was predeceased by: her parents, James Johnson and Mary Conn Johnson; her son Shawn Thacker; and her brother Jimmy Johnson. She is survived by: her significant other Jimmy Thacker; her grandchildren, Heather Perkins and Matthew Thacker; her great grandchildren, London Perkins and Caroline Perkins; her daughter-in-law Jackie Thacker; and her sister Mary Gibson.
