She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Wallace and Violet Lyle Clemons Porter; her husband Dr. Wyman B. Porter; and her siblings, Billie Violet Cook, John Wesley Newton, Marvin "Sonny" Wallace Newton Jr. and Adrial Carlos "Icky" Newton.
She is survived by: her son D. Scott Porter (Paige) of Louisville; her granddaughter Brittany Musick (David) of Louisville; and her great grandchildren, Madison and John David of Louisville.
