He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Lay and Ruth Lay; and his daughter Cassandra Lay. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Hall Lay; his son Shaun Lay (Bonny); his granddaughters, Destiny, Madelyn and Leanna; his brother Ronald Lay (Tammy); his stepson Chad Hall (Andrea); his stepgranddaughter Sadie; his sisters-in-law, Judy, Mary and Lisa; and his pet Peaches.
