He is survived by: his son David Long of Oviedo Florida; his sister Ann Carole Long of Taylorsville; his sibling's children, Deann Burk (Dean) of Shelbyville, Todd Goins (Sallie) of Waynesville and Frank Longley, III (Kristin) of Simpsonville; his great-nephews, BJ Tingle (Jordon) of Shelbyville and Blake Goins (Megan) of Waynesville; his great-niece Kellie Goins of Waynesville; and his niece-in-law Kasie Tingle of Shelbyville.
