She was predeceased by: her father John Edgar Newton; her daughter Tammy French; and her brother John Newton. She is survived by: her mother Alice Newton; her children, Sarah Muthler (Phillip), James Johnson (Tia), Bobby Johnson, Shannon Johnson (Elizabeth), Linda Jeffries and Amanda Tekin; and her siblings, Linda Newton, David Newton, Larry Newton and Rose Arnold.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Hardy-Close Funeral Home (285 S Buckman St, Shepherdsville, KY 40165). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
