He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Renfro and Arvin Renfro; and his brother Joseph "Teddy" Theodore Renfro. He is survived by: his wife Regina "Jeannie" Joyce Renfro; his son Charles Renfro; his daughter-in-law Miranda Renfro; his grandson Waylon "Rowdy" Renfro; his sisters, Yvonne Baughn (Rick) and Lesa Duncan (Tony); and his grandchildren, Sophia, Nathan and Macie. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
