In loving memory of Darrel Phillip Burress of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, who departed this world on June 13, 2025 at the age of 88. Darrel leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Charles and Lyda Lois Burress; his wife Joyce Burress; his son-in-law Paul Shadowens; and his siblings, Coleman, Della Mae Burress, LaQuita Hunt and Nancy Hunt.

He is survived by: his children, Rodney (Lauren), Michael, Charles Burress (Whitney), Theresa Greer (David) and Diane Shadowens. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Memorial gifts in his memory are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association.
