As Darrell departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Darrell may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Darrell leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Holly Lundy; his parents, Pauline Lundy and Claude Lundy; and his brother Dean Lundy. He is survived by: his sons, Jacob, Beau (Canaan) and Michael (Megan).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hardy-Close Funeral Home (285 S Buckman St, Shepherdsville, KY 40165). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
