He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Gaffney and Geraldine Hill; his brother Timothy Gaffney; and his stepparents, James Hill and Dixie Gaffney.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Gaffney; his children, Tabitha Gaffney, Marcus Wright (Melanie), Mary Wright (Zach), Krissy Wright (TJ), Jamie Gaffney, Anthony Welch, Layla Gaffney, Lilly Gaffney, Kadien Gaffney and Leo Gaffney; his sister Theresa Jones; his stepsiblings, Penny Childress, Pat Childress and Lora Hill (David); and his nieces, Holly Mills, Amanda Erbele and Mindy Marie. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
