He was predeceased by: his parents, Sheridan Martin Sr. and Alma Hickman Martin; his daughter Melissa Dawn Martin; his siblings, Leatrice Martin Reedy and Archie Martin; and his grandsons, Christopher Lee Martin and John Ross Burgess.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Stottman Martin; his children, Tina Gale Embry, Nikki Hellman (Jamie), Charles Christopher Martin (Claire), Dachille (Matt), Becca Martin (Austin), Stephanie Stout and Stephen Stout (Jessica); his grandchildren, Nick (Carmela), Lori, Celesta (Caitlin), Michael, Jaleigh, Natalie, Clara, Seth, Landon and Leon; and his great grandchild Eli.
