He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Ritter and Eva Ritter (Boone). He is survived by: his sons, Greg Ritter and Justin Ritter (Chantelle); his grandchildren, Stella and Milo; and his siblings, Bill Ritter (Robin) and Joyce Sarnelli (Rob). He is also survived by numerous nieces, one nephew.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ratterman Brothers (12900 Shelbyville Rd, Louisville, KY 40243). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery (2501 N Dixie Blvd, Radcliff, KY 40160).
