She was predeceased by: her parents, Arlie Sexton and Esma Sexton (Adams); her husband James E. Adams Sr.; and her siblings, Ervie, Dave, Ray, Hennie Sexton, Emily Schmidt, Audrey Prince and Shirley Sizemore.
She is survived by: her sons, James E. Adams Jr. (Sherri) and Stephen R. Adams (Terri); her grandchildren, Rachel Coleman (Chase) and Carter Adams; and her great grandchild Christopher Ryle Coleman. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and other dear family and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N Preston Hwy, Shepherdsville, KY 40165). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
