He was predeceased by : his mother Gwendolyn Garrett. He is survived by : his wife Evelyn Garrett; his children, Shelby Garrett (Kevin Reece) of Shepherdsville, Haley Garrett (Ethan Thomas) of Shepherdsville, Jacob Garrett (Alaysia Nickelberry) of Elizabethtown and Madelyn Garrett of Shepherdsville; his father Ronald Garrett; his siblings, Jason Garrett (Cindy) of Mt. Washington, Jon Garrett of Hillview and Ali Garrett of New Mexico; and his grandchildren, Isabella, Scarlett, Norah Cross and Anastasia Garrett. He is also survived by family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Maraman Billings Funeral Home (605 Preston Hwy, Shepherdsville, KY 40165). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
