She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Payton and Beulah "Tingle" Payton; and her brothers, Donald of Joe, J. W., Allen Douglas and Roger Payton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jill Turner (Randy), Jennifer Houston and Amy Elms (Donald); her grandchildren, Christopher Houston, Lacey Houston, Tyler Elms (Heather), Lauren Turner, Kenneth Turner (Aryan) and Jenna Turner; her great grandchildren, Bryson Barr and Graham Turner; and her sister Norma Ryan (Buddy). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other dear family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N Preston Hwy, Shepherdsville, KY 40165). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home-Shepherdsville (4895 N Preston Hwy, Shepherdsville, KY 40165). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Brookland Cemetery.
