We bid farewell to Mark W. Burden of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 31, 2025 at the age of 73. Mark touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Burden and Lovenia Burden; his brothers, Royce and Nick Burden; and his siblings-in-law, Donna and Bob.
He is survived by: his wife Anita Burden; his children, Kevin Burden and Tracy Burden (Steven Bryant); his grandchildren, Hailey, Steven, Alivia and Gavin; his great grandchildren, Canon, Mason and Amari; and his siblings, Roger, Lee (Tammy), Phillip (Linda), Bruce (Brenda), James (Bonnie), Gale and Jeff (Sheila). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N Preston Hwy, Shepherdsville, KY 40165). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fairdale United Baptist Church (10098 W Manslick Rd, Fairdale, KY 40118). A burial will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at the Mount Eden Cemetery (6383 KY-44, Shepherdsville, KY 40165).
