She is survived by: her children, Melanie Jean Roberts and John Mark Roberts (Brenda); her grandchildren, Kim, Kevin Gathof, Jessica, Jason Ryan and Joshua Roberts; her great grandchildren, Michael, Matthew Gathof, Hank Griffin, Heidi Ryan, Corley, Lucy Bain and Tyler Ryan; and her brother Billy Neal Cundiff.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made in Merrill's honor to the Bullitt County Animal Shelter.
