We are sad to announce that, on October 17, 2025, at the age of 87, Norma Jean Carr of Shepherdsville, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry Gooch and Pearl Gooch; her son Mark Alvin Ridenour; and her friends, Joanne DeMarsh and Dotty Miller.

She is survived by: her husband Larry Carr; her children, Kathy Lynn Peek (Pete) and Dale Ridenour; her grandsons, Bradley Tipton (Laura), Joe Dale Ridenour (Christa), Kevin Ridenour Stacy Colligan (Chrystal) and Jeff Peek (Christy); her sister Hazel Gooch; and her nieces, Joyce Hill (John) and Denise Allen (Tim). She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in honor of Jean are appreciated.
